Haunted Notebook
I once received a haunted notebook Great unease did not allow me look Defeated by grave, tormenting anguish Horror made my shaken mind remiss But fate had started rolling onward Making certain cries are not unheard And only days has passed before Wonder made my hand open the door Inside those pages I peered and Endless projects quickly took a stand I flipped past it’s every musing Scribbled notes recorded thoughtful things Ideas were polished near perfection Many stunning plans were left undone Ensambles of pieces were torn in anger Much, though, did, unyielding, strong endure A stain of coffee was on nearly Every page I still could plainly see To quietly hint at lonely nighttimes Speaking loud about determined times Within, there were a lot of droplets Bloody types that were perhaps from slits, The tears of sorrow, running over, Tears of joy that flooded all the more And such an object, surely haunted, Is for none alive, but left for dead Because it had then been outcast Since
